We have been working with the TX Group formerly Tamedia, see the case study here since 2016. The digital transformation from a newspaper publisher to a digital media company requires a long-term and forward-looking development time frame. Based on a structural reorganisation of the company, the individual areas of responsibility of the company will be given more autonomy and responsibility.
TX comes from within – the new identity is not an invention. It condenses the most ambitious objectives and visions into two letters and makes them stand out.
What is the name of the new group? The established Tamedia brand is to be retained in the journalistic business. The overarching holding company sees its role above all as a digital designer, a hub for expertise and synergies and, last but not least, a magnet for talent. TX embodies that spirit. Until the founding of the group, TX was an internal learning and knowledge-sharing format that brought together the digital transformation of all brands within the group. With this move, the TX Group is therefore delivering on this aim for unity with a vivid self-image.
Uniting platforms
The logo and claim make this aspiration clear. ‘Uniting platforms’ is represented literally in the logo. The TX is formed of seven individual parts that together become a connected unit. Simple and concise.
